Sound and Trusted
These teachers and ministries are generally known for their faithfulness to Scripture, gospel clarity, and theological soundness. While no one is perfect, these individuals are trusted voices in the global church and have proven track records of Christ-centered, Bible-exalting teaching.
We encourage everyone to discern with Scripture as the final authority (Acts 17:11) and to pursue teachers who are biblically sound, Christ-exalting, and gospel-centered.

Teachers to Approach with Discernment
We want to be people who love truth, test everything by Scripture, and pursue spiritual maturity (Ephesians 4:14–15; 1 John 4:1). While no teacher is perfect, some ministries consistently promote teachings that are unbiblical, unbalanced, or spiritually misleading.
Out of love for Christ’s church and commitment to sound doctrine, here are a few authors and teachers we urge you to use serious caution if you choose to approach them—not out of hostility, but because their teaching often deviates from core truths of the gospel or distorts the character of God.
• Joel Osteen – Frequently promotes the prosperity gospel, emphasizing personal success and positive thinking while minimizing the seriousness of sin and the need for repentance and grace.
• Joyce Meyer and Paula White – Teach Word of Faith doctrines, including the belief that believers can "speak things into existence." Their teachings often present a shallow view of sin and promote a man-centered approach to faith.
• T.D. Jakes – Known for prosperity teaching and for rejecting the historic Christian doctrine of the Trinity (modalism), which denies the three distinct persons of the Godhead.
• Kenneth Copeland, Creflo Dollar, and Benny Hinn – Major proponents of the prosperity gospel and faith healing movements, often making unverified or unbiblical claims about miracles, healing, and wealth as guaranteed blessings from God.
• Bill Johnson (Bethel Church) – Promotes extra-biblical revelations, controversial practices (such as "grave soaking" and manifestations of "glory clouds"), and prosperity theology. His ministry often blurs the line between Scripture and subjective spiritual experiences.
